Early Seth Thomas #2 Figured Mahogany Weight Driven Wall Regulator Clock: 34 inches long, 12 inch dial. This is an original clock in as-found condition. These early Seth # 2 Regulators are highly sought after by collectors and they differ from the newer versions in the following ways: Front suspension, weight drop behind the pendulum, protective weight well board with black & gold makers label, reverse glass painting in the lower frame with elaborate gilt and black decoration. Finally the works are mounted to the back of the case directly and on a seat board. This model was introduced just after the Civil War and they are hard to find in this condition.<\/span><\/p>\n
