Delaware Valley Walnut Tall Case Clock made by Edward Hudson in Mount Holly New Jersey C. 1815. The broken arch bonnet with original rosettes & turned wooden finial. The glazed bonnet door opens to an American painted iron dial with an untouched original signature by the maker. The well proportioned case with narrow waist executed in choice, figured Walnut. The base with book matched crotch grain Walnut on original flared French feet. Eight day brass striking movement that has been recently serviced: runs and strikes great. The clock retains its original cast iron weights, pendulum and winding crank. Overall height at 94 1/2 inches tall.
