Philadelphia Fusee Bracket Clock C. 1803 – 1823 by John Crowley, Pinwheel Escapement. This handsome bracket clock is signed with the name of this rare clockmaker John Crowley. The clock is in wonderful condition in a pleasing case with a mellow old surface. Crowley was active in Philadelphia producing tall case, bracket and shelf clocks during the first quarter of the 19th C. This is the third bracket clock by Crowley that we have owned over the past 50 years.
