Early 2nd Generation Willard School Timepiece w/ dead beat escapement, filister head through bolts, oversized pulley. barbed steel hands, heavy painted iron dial etc.. This clock is from the collection of Richard Perlman a well known collector, researcher, author, and scholar from New York. There is provenance back to the original owner in Philadelphia that will accompany the clock. The cast lead weight is original to the clock. The glasses are original and have in-painting/conservation. We reset them with proper glue blocking to maintain their integrity in the frames. The throat frame attaches to the case with a pair of bolts through the frame.
