Atkins, Whiting & Co. Bristol CT 30 day Ives wagon spring powered brass timepiece.   The Rosewood, ripple molded case is the drop octagon form.   This is an original clock circa 1850 that has survived in a very nice state of preservation with original hands, dial, reverse painted glass, and door knob as well.  Desirable old finish with depth and exceptional patina.   The clock measures 25 X 17 1/4 X 4 1/4 inches overall.   The original dial pan has been professionally restored.
