2nd Quarter 18th C, Philadelphia QA Mahogany Flat Top Tall Case Clock by John Wood Sr. From the Estate/Collection of Charlie WIlson and discovered in Lititz PA. This is a 30-hr continuous chain pullup w/outside count wheel strike. The case has an incredible 1 pc, 5/4 long leaf Yellow Pine backboard mounted with fabulous hand wrought “rose head” nails. Note the “red brass plates (high copper content).
