Paper mache stencil decorated and inlaid case in very nice condition with original finish and decoration. Original signed painted dial Original tablet and bone knob. Movement is signed. Very nice label inside that reads: EIGHT DAY BRASS CLOCKS, springs warranted not to fail, Manufactured and Sold by Forestville Manufacturing Co. J. C. Brown, Bristol CT. The eight day brass striking movement is signed/die stamped by the maker at the bottom of the front plate: J.C.Brown Forestville CT USA. Eighteen inches tall. The original lower tablet depicts “Buckingham Palace.”
