Boston C. 1830 Carved Mahogany Lyre Banjo Clock. Great historic surface. Single bridge timepiece w/ finely made steel crutch & recoil escapement. Delicate steel hands w/ barbed tips. Original cast iron weight, pulley, pendulum. Weight has never gone through the bottom. Period finial. Painted iron dial with minor touch up, in painting. Original wood tablets. Wonderful carved Acanthus leaf frame decoration.  The movement has been overhauled and the clock runs strong and keeps good time.
