Welch Spring & Co.

The Welch Spring & Co. Italian No. 3 came in a Rosewood case that measures 13 1/2 X 8 inches with a 4 inch dial, gilded columns and a 30-hr. movement.  What makes this clock special is the RARE time only, round plate clock movement.  The “octagon” shaped door has applied rosettes and a wonderful reverse glass floral painting in the frame.   The reverse glass painting is original with conservation to the black background.  The original makers label pasted to the backboard is original and in excellent condition.
