George Brenisen

George Brenisen C. 1844 Womelsdorf, Berks County, PA late Sheraton Cherry Tall case clock w/ Mahogany & Walnut accents. It’s completely original including the bonnet glass, feet, finials, winding crank, door lock & key, etc.. Eight day brass striking movement dated (1844) on the lower left corner of the front plate. Overall the clock stands at 93 inches tall, 21 inches wide, and 11 inches deep. The refinished case retains has been cleaned and waxed and has a very nice patina. The locally painted iron dial with lunar phases retains the original, untouched signature by the maker. All in all, a delightful piece of country PA craftsmanship from the Heart of PA Dutch Country.
