Winterthur Simon Willard Banjo Clock

Licensed and numbered Winterthur Museum Reproduction Willard Gold Front Presentation Banjo Clock made in the early 1990’s. The clock is in very nice estate condition with normal wear and tear you find in a gold front banjo: minor surface blemishes. Nothing major. Clock runs and keeps perfect time. High grade signed Howard Waltham MA weight driven movement in excellent condition. Signed Howard winding crank in original condition that winds the clock perfectly. Dial is in excellent condition and signed Colonial. Winterthur label, serial number in bottom in original condition.  The gold surface appears to be a “water gilt” Parisian type rather than gold leaf. Signed Howard winding crank as well. Dial is signed Colonial. Winterthur label, serial number in bottom. Comes with EMAIL from Winterthur documenting the clock and the original purchase price of $ 3950. Overall dimensions: 42 X 10 1/2 X 4 1/4 inches. The dial is 7 1/2 inches with a 6 1/4 inch time track and 5/8 inch numerals. The dial is signed Colonial Mfg.and silk screened on Aluminum similar to the dials by Elmer Stennes. The works are signed Colonial Mfg. Co and “Made by Howard Waltham MA.”
